Pomalo Pet Nat Rose 2021
Pomalo, literally “take it slow” in Croatian, is a new side project of the renowned Bura-Mrgudić winemaking family. The organically grown Plavina, a lighter offspring of Zinfandel, is direct pressed into stainless steel to undergo spontaneous fermentation and then spend 6 months on the lees. A dry, crisp, and supremely refreshing pet nat with strawberry and tart raspberry on the nose and a clean and textured finish.
