Medea Punta Greca Merlot 2019
It’s no secret that Merlot likes clay soils. What’s not so well known is that a tiny 3ha peninsula, made up of clay and sand, at the southernmost tip of Istria gives it an exceptional home. The grapes grow literally at sea level imparting a wonderful saltiness and minerality to the wine. Marasca cherry, mediterranean herbs, chocolate and a long velvety finish.
PAIRS WELL WITH
Steak, lamb, aged cheeses and on some nights a selection of Ritter Sport chocolates.
