An elegant and sexy appetizerĀ that's super easy to make.
INGREDIENTS
3 tablespoons of butter
8Ā scallops, dried with paper towel
8Ā thin slices of fresh black truffles
1 tablespoon chopped parsley for garnish
Pinch of black truffle sea salt
METHOD
Melt theĀ butter in a skillet on medium high heat. When the butter stops bubbling, carefully place scallops in the skillet. Be careful do not let them touch each other.
SearĀ the bottom side of the scallops for 3-4 minutes, until the bottom side turns golden brown and the scallop is half way cooked.Ā Then flip andĀ sear for another 3-4 minutes. Do not touch the scallop while searing, otherwise the scallop might fall apart.
Place the cooked scallops on the plate,Ā shave 1 thin slice of freshĀ truffle to each scallop, garnish with parsley, slightly season with black truffle sea salt , serve immediately.
