The Maraskinez

The launch of our online store calls for a little tipple. So we re-created one of our favorite classics, the Martinez. One of the most storied drinks of the classic era, also known as the missing link between the Manhattan and the Martini, the Martinez should hold a special place in every cocktail lovers heart.

Ingredients

45ml gin (preferably Old Tom, but London Dry will do as well)
20ml sweet vermouth (preferably Mancino Chinato, but regular sweet vermouth will do as well)
15ml Maraska Maraschino
2 dashes orange bitters

Instructions

Combine all the ingredients into a mixing glass.
Fill the glass with ice cubes and stir for about 30 seconds.
Strain contents into a chilled cocktail glass.
Garnish with an orange peel.
