Bura Plavac Mali Sivi 2023
A recently discovered natural "gris" mutation of the plavac mali grape with only 1,000 bottles made per year. The Bura-Mrgudić family have spent the past three years separating enough Plavac Mali Sivi vines to create the first sustainable vineyard of this rare mutation on the Pelješac peninsula. Fermented naturally in open vats with four days of skin contact makes this orange wine a totally unique rose gold color—almost like something out of Jony Ive's design studio.
WHAT IT TASTES LIKE
Ripe and dried fruits like apricots, figs, and carob, along with hints of rhubarb and Mediterranean herbs.
