Matošević Grimalda Red 2018
Ivica Matoševic was instrumental in setting up the Istrian appellation and the region's leading wine fair, with Steven Spurrier calling him "Croatia's best winemaker". This is his take on a Bordeaux blend with local varietal Teran in place of Cabernet Franc to provide acidity to the Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon mix. Bursting with vineyard character, vibrant spice and black fruits, and deceptively easy to drink.
