He cleared an untouched forest near the town of Popovača himself, ensuring pristine natural conditions for growing the vines. His take on Frankovka, aka Blaufränkisch, aka the “Pinot Noir of the East” is smooth, peppery, a little bit funky, but very easy to drink.
