Radovan Šuman is a man of intuition. He formed his winemaking philosophy in Slovenian Styria while it was still part of Yugoslavia, unburdened by buttery chardonnays and Parkerization. Instead, he went deep into biodynamics which you feel as soon as you step into his vineyards undisturbed by convention and kept healthy with the help of his photogenic flock of sheep. Sun Drops is his flagship cuvée, harvested from the top a special south-facing parcel with the highest sun exposure. Its complex nose is enriched with herbs, spices and an otherworldly tea-like finish. A very special wine full of vitality. Bottled in clay, covered with home made wax.
