Pomalo, literally “take it slow” in Croatian, is a new side project of the renowned Bura-Mrgudić winemaking family. The organically grown Plavina, a lighter offspring of Zinfandel, is spontaneously fermented and settled down in stainless steel. A smashable red made for day drinking with plum jam, dark cherries and easy-going tannins. Serve chilled.
