With the Dalmatian Dog, Juraj Sladić has managed to create the impossible: a ripe southern wine that is at the same time fresh and elegant. This is only possible because of the high quality organic fruit grown in the harsh conditions of Jardrovac, a barren limestone karst position with only 20% soil. After a week of fermentation on the skins, the wine goes into stainless steel to preserve its freshness. Think Marasca cherries and Dalmatian herbs with a spicy backbone and medium body.
