Bartulović Bartul 2022
On 2.5ha of some of the best positions on the Pelješac Peninsula, the Bartulović family has been quietly making wine that doesn’t need a spotlight. No additives. No heavy oak. No pretence. Just old vines, organic farming, native yeasts, and a deep respect for place that has spanned three generations. Bartul, their core Plavac Mali bottling, carries the family name and is grown in the interior of the peninsula benefiting from colder nights that give it more freshness.
WHAT IT TASTES LIKE
Wild blackberry and fig, dried rosemary, and a hint of salinity. Polished the tannins, but unmistakably a Plavac Mali.
