Bartulović Dingač 2022
The Dingač position on the western side of the Pelješac peninsula is without a doubt Croatia’s most legendary red wine terroir. Bush vines of Plavac Mali cling to near-vertical rocky slopes above the Adriatic, absorbing heat from sea, stone and sky. The Bartulović family is one of the few that farms this harsh terrain organically by hand. The fruit undergoes wild-yeast fermentation and modest aging in neutral oak, preserving both power and a sense of place.
WHAT IT TASTES LIKE
Dense and structured, with ripe black cherry, dried fig, wild herbs and a deep mineral core. Firm tannins and a long finish.
