A tribute to the winemaker's father, Ocu (for my father in Croatian) is made from the Gegić grape variety native to Pag island. Grown organically in one of the rare green oases on the island made barren by the powerful Bura wind, the grapes are left on the skins for 21 days before spending a year in oak. Elegant with dried apricot aromas and hints of cognac and whiskey.
PAIRS WELL WITH
Pork tenderloin, rich risottos, grilled fish, and quiet contemplation.
