If you grew up in Southeast Asia, this probably isn't the Milo you're thinking of. Named after winemaker Denis' late father, this Plavac Mali comes from a single sandy vineyard in the heart of the Pelješac peninsula. Each vine barely gives half a kilo of fruit, but what glorious grapes they are. Fermented with native yeats and aged in neutral oak, this is the polished take on Dalmatia's signature grape you should start with.

Imagine a northern Rhône Syrah that spent a summer in Dalmatia. Black cherries and cracked pepper with a touch of wild herbs and sea salt.
