This bottle was never intended for the market, it was crafted for the winemaker’s own table. Zanatlija translates to "The Craftsman," and is a deeply personal project by Juraj Sladić, the head winemaker at Testament. The label features an Ox and a Dog, the Chinese zodiac signs of Juraj and his wife Ana, who also trodded the grapes. Only 300 bottles made.
WHAT IT TASTES LIKE Marasca sour cherry and rose petals on the nose, electric and alive on the palate, it is elegant and a world away from heavy southern reds.
