Bura Dingac 2015
The vineyards of Dingač, Croatia's first protected wine region, cling to 45-degree slopes above the Adriatic, accessible only through a single-lane tunnel carved through the mountain. The vines get triple sun exposure—direct rays, reflection from the sea, and glare from the white limestone karst. The Bura family has been working these brutal, beautiful slopes for generations, and the result is this cult bottling with a finish that just won't quit.
WHAT IT TASTES LIKE
Opulent dark fruit, aged leather, spice and mocha over serious minerality and wild Adriatic herbs.
