Roughly translated from the local Brač dialect, Dita means a noble family heirloom. It is the best a family has that is passed down through generations. An apt name for the Senjković family’s most ambitious wine, made only in the best years. A blend of Syrah, Cab Sauv and Plavac Mali from three different micro locations gives an exciting, complex full-bodied wine. Pepper, blackberries, cherries, wild strawberries and a lively freshness.
2016 is the second time the wine was ever made, with 1,500 bottles in total. This wine will benefit from a few years of patience, or an hour or two of decanting if drinking now.
PAIRS WELL WITH
Aged Wagyu sirloin, rich sheep cheese, and thinking about your family tree.
