Tomac Amfora Sparkling 2019
Known for making some of the best sparkling wines in Croatia from their 9 hectares of biodynamic vineyards south of Zagreb, the Tomac family also pioneered the use of Georgian amphoras in the region. This hard-to-find cult bottling is made from a base wine macerated in clay amphorae for six-month, resulting in a contemplative textural expression that will turn what you expect of sparkling wine on its head.
